Seattle

We made it to Seattle...late.
We went to the LEGO store in the mall first, then ate lunch then headed out.
We were stuck in traffic for 2 1/2 hours.
A short trip took FOREVER.
If we didn't have to let children rest and eat we would get so much more done!
As soon as we got to Seattle we checked into the hotel then headed to the Space Needle.
Monica & Aden went to the top.
I am afraid of heights so we didn't make the journey up.
We rode the carnival rides and waited for them to come down.
Ava wanted to ride the Ferris Wheel - ugh...so I rode it with her - guess it's not as high as space needle, but still!!
My knuckles were white by the time we got off!!
Saturday we headed to Pike's Place, ate again, visited the first ever Starbucks, rode a ferry to Bambridge and went to the pier and did lots and lots of walking!
Our day came to an end with some yummy pizza and the kids falling asleep on the way home.
Thanks Monica & Aden for coming all the way to Portland to see us!
We had a great time and we miss you already!

Going to the beach with what was probably hurricane winds and Aden yelling "Melissa let's go back to the car!"
